This policy explains what data Tasqen (tasqen.com and its tool subdomains, operated by RTSoftwares) handles and why.
1. Your content stays in your browser
Everything you paste, type, upload or load into a tool (JSON, HTML, CSV, JavaScript, QR content, logos, passwords you generate) is processed locally in your browser. We do not receive it, store it, or have access to it. Generated passwords are created in your browser and never sent anywhere.
If you use a tool's "load from URL" feature, your browser requests that URL directly from the address you entered; the request does not pass through our servers.
2. What we store on your device
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Tools save a few small preferences in your browser's local storage, for example your light/dark theme choice. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings.
3. Server logs
Like most websites, our web hosting provider records standard access logs (such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time). We use them only to keep the site running and secure.
4. Third-party services
- Code libraries from CDNs. Some tools load open-source libraries (for example Terser, js-beautify, SheetJS, qr-code-styling) from public CDNs such as jsDelivr and cdnjs. Those providers may see your IP address when your browser fetches the files.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your data. Because we do not collect your content, there is nothing of it to share.
6. Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you (usually only what is in server logs), and request correction or deletion, by emailing support@tasqen.com.
7. Children
The site is a set of general developer tools and is not directed at children.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
